Designed and manufactured in accordance with the future EUROPEAN STANDARD concerning safety relays for sealed oil-immersed Transformers and Inductors.
Reference. EN 50 216-2-2 Independant
and safe
It provides 4 alarms (change-over contacts):
-
PRESSURE inside the transformer unit
-
1st TEMPERATURE THRESHOLD: ALARM
-
2nd TEMPERATURE THRESHOLD: TRIGGERING
-
DROP in LIQUID LEVELS

Innovative
Its patented design makes it THE ONLY DEVICE whose liquid level is
visible from all sides. Moreover, it contains integrated
magnetic protection avoiding any untimely triggering in a magnetic environment.
Sturdy
and compact
It harmonizes perfectly with your immersed Transformers and
Inductors.
The main parts (body and casing) are made of TROGAMID treated to resist UV radiation, and they are ribbed and reinforced to ensure high strength levels.
Its transparent casing also enables checks to be carried out on temperature setting thresholds without having to open the front panel.
The all-round visibility of the oil level and the fact that the cable link is placed at the bottom of the casing make the relay easy to orient so that the thermometer indicator can be read
easily.

The reliability of the DMCR relay has been recognized by all our clients, for the following
reasons:
- All our relays are 100% tested before dispatch, in real surroundings, i.e. they are set up on a test bench with
mineral oil at 80°C and a test pressure of 1 bar for over 30
minutes.
- During the test, all the relay functions are checked systematically and the pressure and temperature adjustments are made under
conditions that correspond to the conditions of use, in order to obtain
very precise values.
- Control of the oil level or any gases given off is provided by a magnetic switch with an opening contact and a closing contact. In its normal operating position, i.e. with the float in the upper position, it is the closing contact that is made, which provides positive safety, as the switch is in constant operation in the normal position. The device enables immediate identification of any broken reed switches. This event would seem impossible due to the fact that the glass container of the switch is housed in a protective sheath, which in turn is inserted in the brass
thimble.
Moreover, the large ring-shaped float contains a ring magnet, and it slides along the thimble. In this way, the fairly strong magnetic field created by the magnet provides a screen for other exterior magnetic fields and provides further safety for our DMCR relay, by preventing any untimely triggering.
The system has been patented, and it does away with all need for further protection of the metal screen type. It provides the DMCR with a level of
integrated magnetic protection that is ten times higher than that of certain other types of equipment on the
market.
